I had a very good experience with these tires. They are the best of the best. I am a professional limousine driver and using Hankook tires for years.

During winter months, the tire was used for in-town driving 95% of time. These also were studded. For winter use, these were among the best tires used in Western PA-North WV snow, and we had A LOT of snow this year. Next year, this car is going to my 16-year-old daughter with the HANKOOK I-PIKE STUDDED TIRES during the winter. Like any studded tire, the driver can spin the studs off the tire if they use jack-rabbit starts (which also is bad for gas mileage).

Frankly, these tires suck. They don't do anything like what they are supposed to do for a winter tire. They have terrible traction in deep snow, when it's wet and cold, or on ice. They slide all over the place, no stopping grip (especially under emergency stopping). They grip well when it's dry and very cold, but they are loud, a little too stiff, and I felt no confidence in them when driving them in the winter. Stay away from these.

Would Buy Again 1/5   Hydroplaning Resistance 2/5
Wet Traction 2/5   Cornering Stability 4/5
Dry Traction 5/5   Steering Response 4/5
Snow Traction 2/5
